New Year 2000
The new millennium brought the first street party to Coverdale Avenue. The evening started with Neeps and Taties at Bob and Alex's, followed by main courses at Stephen and Nicola's. Entertainment was provided in their garage by the newly formed Satin Sheen. Puddings and cheese were presented in the garage at Teresa and Ralph's. Scalextric cars were racing at Philippa and Trevor's, where there was a firework display soon after midnight.
